First visit was a take-out order of the garden veggie wrap (they accommodated my request to swap out hummus for baba ganoush) and a falafel wrap. I could not have been happier with my choices - all the veggies were fresh, the portions generous and the lemon-tahini salad dressing is fantastic. Counter service was friendly and food came out quickly and just like I ordered. At $16 each and large enough portions for two meals it's a great value. I will definitely be coming back to this little neighborhood gem over and over again!

Really enjoyed my first visit to East West! This restaurant is next to the theater and there is a parking lot available. They serve a California take on Mediterranean flavors. Apparently they've been in business for over 30 years! The interior is spacious and clean. They have a working fireplace, which is so charming, and a number of turquoise decorative accents. Staff is friendly and offered us the choice of sitting in front or back. They have a nice patio when the weather is agreeable. We each got a meal. My mom got the salad with tofu, my sister got the quesadilla, and I got the tuna melt with a side of the soup of the day. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes for the price seemed really generous. I absolutely loved the tuna melt and I would 100% order it again. There were other items on the menu we'd like to try too!

My wife and I had a really nice experience at East West. Kudos to our fellow Yelpers for their great reviews which helped us find this gem. We had a friendly greeting from the host and were shown a table immediately. My wife really liked the fireplace they had and we sat near it. She ordered Mediterranean dish and subbed out for blue tortillas. She really enjoyed it. I had a really delicious and juicy burger with fries. Our server provided great service. We liked the interior design of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back:)

Moments after pulling into a parking space in front of a Santa Rosa lunch spot I checked yelp to see what I might wish to order. One yelp review I read kept mentioning another place that the writer preferred so I looked up that place and before you know it I'd pulled out of my parking space and was back on the road. East West Cafe was my new lunch destination and I think the decision was a good one. Being a solo diner I'd anticipated getting something to go but once I stepped inside I knew I'd have to stay. It was rainy out and the feeling I got when I stepped inside was one I wanted to bask in for a bit. It wasn't so much the space itself but rather, the people in the airy, high-ceilinged space: Mothers and daughters, large tables of friends, and couples nursing hot tea long after their plates were cleared, just glad to be inside and enjoying the company of others. I really hope there's not another Covid surge. I've missed this feeling. East West's menu is very enticing. While there's lots of Mediterranean fare this isn't any sort of Mediterranean restaurant. The menu is all over the map in a really enjoyable way making it difficult to decide what to order. I opted for the Thai Tofu Salad ($14.95) which featured sautéed tofu, spinach, lettuce, red cabbage, mandarins, avocado, carrots, beets, red onion, and toasted almonds. Served with a tangy citrus dressing this salad was fresh, colorful, and satisfying to such an extent that I couldn't really complain about finding nothing much "Thai" about it. Anyhow, there's a reason people are writing yelp reviews of other Santa Rosa lunch spots referencing how much more they like East West Cafe. After a single visit I'd have to agree: save on gas and drive time and make East West Cafe your first choice. No regrets here.
